A Housing Authority application will appear on this site whenever positions are available and it may be downloaded, completed, signed, and mailed to our Central Office located at 715 E. Brier Drive, San Bernardino, CA 92408. Applications may also be faxed to (866) 557-3068 or emailed to recruitment@hacsb.com. All applicants must submit a completed application to be considered for any openings. Applicants may submit resumes along with their applications, however, the resume may not be substituted for any section of the application.

Some openings may require the successful completion of a written examination for advancement through our employment process. The Housing Authority reserves the right to limit the number of persons interviewed as we narrow the field for a final selection(s).

Finalists for a position with our agency must submit to a pre-employment drug screen, a post offer physical examination, and must provide a current DMV print-out for review. Successful candidates will be given a twelve month probationary period to train and learn their new job duties (18 months for supervisory positions.)

The agency offers several choices for medical coverage, a dental plan, life and dependent life insurance coverages, a supplemental vision plan, retirement benefits through CalPERS, and long term disability coverage for all regular full time personnel. Optional benefits include Accidental Death and Dismemberment Coverage, Voluntary Life Insurance, a Deferred Compensation Plan, and income protection coverage for catastrophic incidents: cancer, accidents, and/or intensive care needs.
